NASCAR Euro Series to Host Championship Rounds at Rustavi Motorpark From 2028

Great success by Georgian drivers on the international stage has opened a big new opportunity for the country. The hard work of the Kolkhi Georgia Racing Team, Davit and Sandro Kajaia, Sandro Tavartkiladze, and Mariam Davitidze, together with the Georgian Automobile Sport Federation (GASF), created the foundation for an official deal. The NASCAR Euro Series has announced a multi-year partnership that brings world-class racing right to Europe's eastern gateway - the modern Rustavi International Motorpark, located just 20 kilometers from Tbilisi.

This project started in the spring of 2026 when Series Founder and President Jerome Galpin and COO Anne Galpin visited Tbilisi. Important meetings with government officials and a tour of the Rustavi track confirmed that Georgia is ready to become a center for regional motorsport. During this visit, the first EuroNASCAR car arrived in Georgia to help discover and train new talent. The journey begins in late autumn 2027 with a major non-championship All-Star event at Rustavi International Motorpark. It will be a real celebration for motorsport fans, and organizers will offer full travel and financial help to participating teams. From 2028 to 2030, Rustavi will officially join the NASCAR Euro Series calendar for championship rounds. This will bring exciting races, business opportunities, and global attention to Georgia."This partnership is a brand-new chapter in the history of the NASCAR Euro Series, opening new opportunities," said Jerome Galpin. "We see huge potential to grow our sport, connect with new fans, and inspire future generations of drivers. Our goal is more than just organizing a race we want to build a lasting presence for NASCAR and support motorsport across the whole region."

Georgia's Minister of Sports, Shalva Gogoladze, highlighted the importance of this event for the country: "The agreement signed in Belgium shows that Georgia is a reliable partner for big international sports bodies. It is also special because our drivers, Sandro Tavartkiladze and Davit Kajaia, have won NASCAR Euro Series Trophy titles over the last two years."Alexander Lomadze, President of the Georgian Automobile Sport Federation (GASF) and Vice President of the FIA Sport Clubs Committee, shared his pride as well: "From the test race in 2027 until the end of the 2030 season, this project will bring great emotion, top-level entertainment, and international success to Georgian fans and drivers."
