For decades, the Defender has been the top choice for fearless travelers and adventurers. When you talk about the Defender, any car enthusiast immediately thinks of the Camel Trophy event, where the British vehicle played the main role. Inspired by this great event, Land Rover, in partnership with the charity Tusk, has introduced a completely new off-roading tournament. This event will culminate in the African wilderness in the autumn of 2026. For this very event, the new Land Rover Defender 110 Trophy Edition all-terrain vehicle was created. It's safe to say that after a break of several years, the legend has risen from the ashes like a phoenix.
The 2025 Land Rover Defender 110 Trophy Edition is equipped with a powerful 346-horsepower 3.0-liter turbo diesel (Mild-Hybrid) engine. This is paired with an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission. Of course, it will have permanent All-Wheel Drive (AWD), an electronically active differential, a Descent Control system, and more. Its maximum speed is 191 km/h. The new Defender can tow up to 3,500 kg, which highlights its expedition capabilities.
The new generation Defender 110 Trophy Edition is available in two colors: the legendary Deep Sandglow Yellow, which is the Camel Trophy color and makes the car instantly recognizable, and the UK's Keswick Green. To protect the paint, the manufacturer offers a Matte Protective Film. This color scheme continues with glossy black accents on the body, which perfectly match the 20-inch wheels. The Defender is equipped with an expedition roof and a ladder. There are also additional gear carriers on the sides. Importantly, the Defender features a snorkel and special front and rear mud flaps designed for off-roading.
As for the interior, the cockpit is simple and minimalist. It has a multi-functional steering wheel, an 11.4-inch touchscreen, and the Pivi Pro system. The seats are made of Ebony Windsor leather. Pre-orders have already started, but its debut will take place at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in 2025. The starting price in the UK is approximately 89,810 British Pounds.
